Fish’s Five – 2021 Classic Day 1

Ivy Wolf: Although she had 17 points on a relatively subpar shooting night, she cements herself on this list by answering the daunting task of finding a way through Hoban’s constant vigorous pressure all game long.

Reagan Vinskovich: Though in a losing effort, the sophomore proved she’s well worth the hype and praise she received coming into this game. She willed herself to keep her undermanned and benchless team in a tight game that seen 13 lead changes and seven ties, against well balanced Waynedale team. Forcing her way to the free throw line 13 times, connecting on 11 of them.

Taylor Theirry: Had 8 defensive boards, on her way to a 13 point, 11 rebound double-double.

Emma Schumate: She set the tone, scoring the Wildcats’ first 14 points, on her way to a game high 21, in just under 25 minutes, on 5 of 9 shooting from beyond the arc.

Zoe Miller: She consistently got good looks inside as Las Vegas lacked anyone who could contain her from the paint or on the boards.
