Final 4: Poland made it out of this grinder of a district last year, I think they advance through to districts again, though Struthers won’t be an easy out. With Brown the Bulldogs generally have the best player on the floor. They defend like crazy and have plenty of kids coming off the bench. I think West Branch also gets through without any problem. Southeast recently suffered a loss of starting guard Emma Keto, that won’t help the Pirates, but I don’t think it will stop them from advancing to districts. Coach Nettleton has done a great job over there and always has his team playing hard and playing great. Salem seems to have caught a hot streak late in the season here and that should continue into the postseason. They’ve won 5 out of 6 to finish the season, and pushing West Branch as far as they could.

My Pick: I really like West Branch, I think they are deep and well coached. They struggle with consistency scoring the ball. Poland is tough. They’re built on being physical and tough. That is very helpful in tourney play. Both teams are very good and well coaches, this will come down to skill players and I think West Branch has the slim advantage there, I’m going with the Warriors.
