Unfortunately for myself, and lots of other basketball fans, Minster is tucked away in the far reaches of Ohio. Not real far from Indiana sits a pocket of the best hoops Ohio has to offer. Minster is in that pocket, along with Fort Loramie, Versailles, Anna and many other small schools with rich traditions.
Janae Hoying and Ivy Wolf have been important pieces of a Minster team that has yet to lose a tournament game in their high school career. At the conclusion of this year these young ladies will finally being going their separate ways, the first time since the 4th grade. Hoying will be heading north to Findlay while Wolf takes off south to Miami of Ohio.
As tough as it is to get to this western northwest Ohio basketball mecca of hoops, we all know who these dynamic guards are, and we all enjoy watching them play. It was a pleasure to be able to sit down with both of them and dig a little into their relationship. Listen to the 2-time state champions as they discuss all things basketball and besties.
